Welcome to the online home of The Mouldy Joes – a fun loving, good time party band from nowhere special in West Yorkshire. We love to play live and entertain our audiences and from what we’ve been told, we do a good job of it. We play a mix of traditional and contemporary Irish songs (The Saw Doctors, The Pogues, The Dubliners, The Waterboys) We can also perform some rock ‘n’ roll, folk and ska songs (Ronnie Lane, Madness, The Specials) and a host of old favourites too (Van Morrison, Neil Diamond, The Monkees) We’re not afraid of trying to learn any song if enough notice is given (just don’t ask us to do Danny Boy) Please take the time to look around our site, we hope it convinces you to come see us at one of our upcoming gigs, or at the very least it makes the 5 minutes you spend here looking around, more fun than the 5 minutes you had before you got here.
